does anyone remember a racehorse named BELPER it only had one eye. i think it used to run at brighton race course in the late 60s or early 70s i think it was ridden by r. hutchinson it was said that because it only had one eye it could only run round a left handed track. im sure it won a lot of races at brighton.

In the UK, how do you go about getting a horse racing training license?

I’m currently studying for an equine degree so will have relevant experience, would I have to do some kind of course or just take a test, and where/how do you take this test? Or is it simply a case of applying?
