I notice that many people like to use this category to bash other users if they disagree with the answers they see. How do they ever expect to get factual information about their own misguided statements? What do you think about this mis-use of the horse racing category?
I answered a question about the Barbaro Special & a few people had some problems with my answer. I’m all for free speech, but some people like to do a HIT & RUN & they make a mockery of this forum by doing so.. It’s all about SHARING WHAT YOU KNOW… Not trying to discredit everyone in order to gain points & trample on one another!
I understood the community guidelines to not allow personal communications within the answers category. Perhaps they have changed since I signed on.
Addressing another user is one thing. PERSONAL ATTACKS are yet another subject that some people don’t seem to think is in any way a violation of the guidelines. I have had enough violations to be familiar with them. I guess some people think it’s ok to abuse this forum for personal attacks. I only do it when I have the facts & this is why a working email address is a good thing to clear up misconceptions BEFORE people start attacking one another in print. I’m “old school”!
Yahoo! Answers IS NOT A MESSAGE BOARD. Please read the COMMUNINTY GUIDELINES & while you are at it, re-read my question. It appears that many of the users have become lost in a sea of mis-information & reading into things that they have no knowledge of. This proves it for me. Why can’t people just ask & answer a question anymore? This forum has lost it’s backbone (in my opinion)!
NO ONE EVER GETS YOUR TRUE ADDRESS UNLESS YOU GUVE IT TO THEM. That’s why Yahoo is so great, no one has to give their real name or address.
You MEN just don’t get it. I’m guessing that you could be employed as a Gate Crew Worker & that’s why you are so angry & pig headed over what I said! This is the type of thing that goes on all the time on the back lot of a race track…that’s why I left. Far too many empty headed decisions seem to be running amuck in this forum. Only Yahoo can place a judgement on a violation & then most of the users/abusers just get another email address & keep up their personal attacks on others. I hope this changes & many of you get the BOOT!
